FCBA April Meeting

Management Techniques that Maximize Honey Production

Honey.  A delicious superfood & one of the rewards beekeepers everywhere anticipate.  But are you getting the most from your hive(s)?  What if there was a way to inspire your bees to make even MORE honey?  Alicia McDuffee will be sharing "Management Techniques that Maximize Honey Production".  Whether you harvest honey for your own personal use or sell by the 5-gallon pail, we hope to see you there!

If you plan to come & eat, Please click here to sign up for the Potluck.

Alicia McDuffee is a Domestic Engineer & Homeschooling mom of 4, 2 of which have Graduated.  She also is Vice Coordinator for her local American Heritage Girls troop.  On her small ½ acre keeps chickens, a turkey, 2 large gardens, grows a variety of berries, & a cherry tree.  Alicia’s fascination with nature started as a child & continues to this day.  She started beekeeping when God caused a swarm of bees to land on a tree branch in her backyard.  She has now been keeping bees for 10 years and in Fall of 2022 earned her Master Beekeeper Certificate from Cornell University.  She serves as Program Chair with FCBA & loves being a Mentor.  Her motto is “Never Stop Learning”.
