Forsyth County Beekeepers Association's 2022 Bee School
The FCBA Bee School is designed to provide you the skills and knowledge you will need to become a certified beekeeper, through presentations, demonstrations, mentors, class instruction and practical experience.
You will be assigned a mentor who can assist you. This will be a combination of in person and virtual class over the course of 5 Saturdays that will culminate with a practical hands on examination of your new beekeeping skills. You will also have the opportunity to take the NCSBA Certified Beekeeping Written Exam.
A good reference guide to the material we will be teaching can be found in the following book which you can purchase here on Amazon if you so choose.
A meeting link for the on line portion will be provided via email after you have registered for the class within a week before class starts as well as a confirmation of the first in person meeting location, we are planning for that to be at the Extension Office where we hold our regular club meetings. The course will be instructed by experienced Beekeepers from our Association.
