Honey is an essential ingredient in mead, but how many of us know how to make it? Ben Starr of Starrlight Mead will join us to talk about mead and mead making at home. Ben and Becky Starr started making mead in 2004, won "Best in Show" at the International Mead Festival competition in Colorado in 2006, and started Starrlight Mead in 2010 in Pittsboro, NC. By now they have made over 90,000 bottles of mead and continue to develop new blends and flavors. Have questions about mead? Ben Starr has the answers!
