Forsyth County Beekeepers Association's 2020 Bee School

This school is designed to provide you with the text book, presentations, demonstrations, mentor, class instruction and practical experience you will need to become a certified beekeeper. You will be assigned a mentor who can assist you during and after school. This is a 5 Saturday class room course that will culminate with a practical hands on examination of your new beekeeping skills. You will also have the opportunity to take the NCSBA Certified Beekeeping Written Exam.
The classroom portion will meet from 9 am to 12 noon at the Forsyth County Cooperative Extension Center. The course will be instructed by experienced Beekeepers from our Association.

Annual FCBA membership is required @ $10. The cost of the course is $60 per person which covers the cost of books and helps fund our association's mission to promote good beekeeping practices and continuing education for interested beekeepers. If a family wants to share books, additional non textbook registrations are available for $40 per additional family member. Registration is requested before 1/23/2020 or a $10 Late Registration fee will be charged. Seats are limited and Registration will close once our seat limit is full. If the class fills you can add yourself to the waiting list but there is no guarantee you will get in.
