Speaker - Don Hopkins, NC Apiary Inspection Supervisor, will be speaking on "NC Beekeeping 2018-2019."  In addition to a summary of the state of beekeeping in NC last year, he will discuss the flooding  and the resulting mosquito abatement and pesticide use.  It is important that we be aware of how to avoid the devastation of floods,  as well as how to protect our bees from the aftermath.  Come hear what Don has to say about that and how the various agencies in NC are working to protect our bees now and in the future.

Reminder - Memberships are due and Bee School starts 2/2/2019.  Please bring a liter soda bottle to the meeting.  They are needed for Bee School.  We can also use volunteers to assist with baked goods or to provide snacks!  If you are not sure about the details for Bee School, click the link below:
