Forsyth County Beekeepers Association's 2017 Bee School
This school is designed to provide you with the text book, presentations, demonstrations, mentor, class instruction and practical experience you will need to become a certified beekeeper. In the 4th week of the class we will assign you a mentor who can assist you during and after school. This is a 5 Saturday class room course that will culminate with a practical hands on examination of your new beekeeping skills. You will also have the opportunity to take the :
North Carolina State Beekeepers Association - Master Beekeeper Program - Certified Beekeeper Written Exam.
The classroom portion will meet from 9am to 12 noon at the Forsyth County Cooperative Extension Center. The course will be instructed by experienced Beekeepers from our Association.

Annual FCBA membership is required @ $10. The cost of the course is $50 per person which covers the cost of books and helps fund our association's mission to promote good beekeeping practices and continuing education for interested beekeepers. If family's want to share books, a non textbook registration is available for $35. Registration is requested before February 11th or a $10 Late Registration fee will be charged.
